Everest from the Air

Our lucky monkeys worked again. On our very last morning in Nepal, the weather cleared and we were able to take a mountain flight along the Himalayas. We got clear views of all the peaks from Kathmandu almost to the eastern border of Nepal, including Everest. We highly recommend anyone traveling to Nepal do this flight, even if you trek in the area. For $200, you get a close up view of these Himalayan behemoths. The pilots even let you go up to the cockpit to get a view out the front window. A truly spectacular way to end our trip to Nepal.
