Greenwich Greenwich, located in South East London is renowned for its maritime history and for giving its name to the Greenwich Meridian (0° longitude) and Greenwich Mean Time. The town became the site of a royal palace, the Palace of Placentia from the 15th century, and was the birthplace of many in the House of Tudor, including Henry VIII and Elizabeth I. Definition of Mad Libs from Wikipedia… Mad Libs consist of a book that has a short story on each page with many key words replaced with blanks. Beneath each blank is specified a lexical or other category, such as “noun”, “verb”, “place”, or “part of the body”.[10] One player asks the other players, in turn, to contribute some word for the specified type for each blank, but without revealing the context for that word. Day 1 of 70, and we’re on our way. Mom and Dad flew in from Omaha, and we’re all on a flight to Atlanta. Smooth skies with a blanket of white below us so far. Love wifi on board! Next stop London Heathrow. Arriving 10:30 AM BST (British Summer Time), which is GMT+1 (Greenwich Mean Time). More on Greenwich later, as we’re planning to visit there tomorrow afternoon.
